Península Aysén

Península Aysén is a natural area located at the end of Teniente Merino street, on the western edge of Puerto Aysén, where the Aysén River forms a bend that wraps around this strip of land. It is a very popular spot for sunset photography: from here you get a panoramic view of the river, with the hills and evergreen vegetation of Patagonia as a backdrop. It is ideal for a leisurely walk, enjoying the riverside surroundings, and landscape photography — especially in the last hours of the day, when the light falls on the water. It can be reached in just a few minutes from the city center by following Teniente Merino street to its end, on foot or by vehicle.
