Laguna Los Palos

About 12 kilometers north of Puerto Aysén, in the Los Palos river valley, this glacial lagoon is surrounded by evergreen forest and snow-capped mountains. It is a peaceful destination, ideal for recreational trout fishing, kayaking, photography, and easy hikes through the area. The valley also offers horseback riding through the forest and ascents to Cerro Nevado, with views over the Puerto Aysén valley. Reachable in approximately 15 to 20 minutes by vehicle along the road to the Los Palos area, making it a perfect half-day escape from the city.
