Humedal Isla Díaz

Humedal Isla Díaz is the natural ecosystem of Isla Díaz, located in the channel of the Aysén River within the urban area of Puerto Aysén, next to the Municipal Park. While the park concentrates recreational areas, the wetland is the wild heart of the island: riparian vegetation, river branches, and wetland zones that serve as refuge for local birdlife, making it a birdwatching spot with records on platforms such as eBird. It is accessed on foot via a pedestrian walkway from the city center, making a visit easy to combine with a stroll through the park. It is part of the Ruta de los Humedales of the Municipality of Aysén, alongside Las Ranas and La Rampa.
