Area: Ribera del río Aysén, centro de Puerto Aysén
The Puerto Aysén waterfront follows the course of the Aysén River, navigable in its final stretch, and is the favorite urban promenade for locals and visitors alike. From its walkways and viewpoints, you can watch small vessels pass by, spot riverine birds such as herons and black-necked swans, and take in the silhouette of the Presidente Ibáñez bridge. It is a flat, accessible route, ideal for walking or cycling at any time of day, with seating areas to sit and contemplate the river. In just a few minutes it connects the city center with the bridge, making it a great starting point for exploring Puerto Aysén on foot. Photo: Vlatacas — CC BY-SA 3.0, via Wikimedia Commons.
