Costanera del río Aysén

The Costanera del río Aysén follows the course of the Aysén River, navigable in its final stretch, and is the favourite urban promenade for both locals and visitors. From its walkways and viewpoints you can watch small vessels pass by, spot riverbank birds such as herons and black-necked swans, and admire the silhouette of the Puente Presidente Ibáñez. The route is flat and accessible, ideal for walking or cycling at any time of day, with spots to sit and take in the river. It connects the city centre with the bridge in just a few minutes, making it an excellent starting point for exploring Puerto Aysén on foot.
