Area: Radio urbano de Puerto Aysén
Affectionately known as "El cerrito mirador", it is a panoramic viewpoint located within the urban area of Puerto Aysén, just a few minutes' walk from the city centre. From its summit, visitors enjoy a privileged view of the Puente Presidente Ibáñez —a National Monument and the longest suspension bridge in Chile, at 210 metres— and of the Aysén river as it flows through the city towards the fjord. It is an ideal stop to get one's bearings, photograph the townscape, the river port and the mountains surrounding the valley. Its easy access and short walk make it suitable for the whole family, and it can be visited year-round, preferably on clear days to fully appreciate the scenery.
