Cascada del León

Imposing high-flow waterfall that stands out for splitting into two parallel cascades as it descends a volcanic rock face on the banks of the Pangal river. Located in the Pangal area, approximately 16 kilometres northeast of Puerto Aysén — about a 30-minute drive along the road that follows the valley. From the road, a short walk leads to its base, surrounded by dense Patagonian vegetation, making it accessible to visitors of all ages. It is one of the classic stops on the Ruta del Agua of Puerto Aysén and an excellent spot for photography, riverside relaxation, and evergreen forest observation.
