Cascada de los Gigantes

Waterfall located in the Villa Los Torreones area, a small locality beside Route 240, some 20 kilometres from Puerto Aysén in the direction of Coyhaique. From the village, it is reached on foot via a trail of approximately 2 kilometres that follows the watercourse upstream, offering views of several cascades amid the evergreen forest, with Cascada de los Gigantes being the highlight. It is a short, low-difficulty walk, suitable for the whole family, ideal for hiking and photography, and complements a visit to the other waterfalls in the río Simpson valley.
