Cascada Cola del Gallo
Area: Sector Los Palos – El Tabo, al norte de Puerto Aysén
Waterfall approximately 20 meters high, located in the rural area of Los Palos–El Tabo, about 20 kilometers north of Puerto Aysén. It is characterized by its fan-shaped drop over the rock, resembling a rooster's tail — the effect that gives it its name and makes it one of the most photographed waterfalls in the municipality. It is reached via the road leading to the Los Palos area and then on foot along a low-difficulty trekking trail that crosses fields and evergreen forest. It is part of the Ruta de las Cascadas de Puerto Aysén and is ideal for family hikes, photography, and native flora observation.
